This is a hollow vessel without a bottom. Its shape is expanded conically up and down. The outer and inner surfaces are decorated with white, red, and black paint. These colors are the most common among tribes of the Cucuteni–Trypillia throughout their existence. It may symbolize the unity of sacred traditions and their common origin. The composition consists of arcs and ovals. The decoration system demonstrates the cult representations of the tribes of the Cucuteni–Trypillia culture. It is possible that the arcs and ovals reflect the different phases of the Moon, which was one of the main sacred images for these tribes. Monocular-shaped vessels were used in certain rituals. It is also assumed that the "monocles" could serve as stands or bases for drums.
