Architects F. Corassini, K. Benoe. In the second half of the XIX century. the interior was painted by E. Fabianskyi. The Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary is an example of baroque cult architecture with Renaissance features, the builders saw the artistic perfection of the building in its simplicity and brevity. In 1669, A. Potocki achieved the transformation of the local church into a collegiate church, at which an educational institution - a branch of the Krakow Academy - began to operate. Archaeological surveys of the basement rooms confirmed the presence of three crypts in the church, where representatives of the Potocki family and the clergy were buried. A belfry was built near the church in 1744, which had a bell weighing more than 2 tons. In 1962, the church was closed by the Soviet authorities, and the bell tower (1963) was destroyed. Completely rebuilt according to old photos and drawings in 2000 during the reconstruction of the square.
