BOGOMIR BOGOMIROVICH KORSOV (1843–1920) Singer (baritone), the Bolshoi Theatre soloist in 1878–1905. He performed the parts of Boris Godunov — “Boris Godunov”, the Demon — “The Demon”, Holofernes— “Judith”, Mazepa — “Mazepa”, Aleco — “Aleco”, Amonasro — “Aida”, Count of Nevers — “The Huguenots”, Iago — “Othello”, etc. “Olenin is a singer and actor. He creates distinct personalities for his characters in any role, refined, thoroughly thought-of and deeply felt. Whatever the genre, he delivers — comedy and drama, serious and foolish humor, everyday life in all senses, and tragedy with a historical coloring.
