Jean-Baptiste Debret (18 April 1768 – 28 June 1848) , a French painter, who lived in Brasil from 1816 to 1831 and produced many watercolors, paintings and lithographs. This litograph of Brazilian fruits is a facsimile reproduction of the original edition of Firmin Didot Frères at Paris, 1839.
