“Han Xiangzi” (patron of the gardeners)

One of the eight immortals in Taoist religion, the adopted son of the Scholar Han Yu (768-824). He lived in the eleventh century, and renounced public life in order to live with the sage Lu Dong-Bin. He is believed to exert special powers, such as making flowers grow by the sound of his flute.
