“The Fisher” tapestry

This tapestry is the fourth in the “Fêtes Italiennes” series of Italian village scenes designed by François Boucher. It bears the mark of Nicolas Besnier and Jean-Baptiste Oudry, co-directors of the Beauvais factory between 1734 and 1753.
