In 1926, the production and importation of alcoholic beverages started to be completely carried out by the state with the introduction of the Law on Aggregate Spirits and Soft Drinks Monopoly. This Ottoman Turkish metal plate has a historical significance in this sense, too. On the upper part “Turkey” is written in Ottoman Turkish, while at the bottom “Aggregate Spirits and Soft Drinks Monopoly Administration” is written. This plate was used at the entrance of the monopoly administration offices until 1928. A historical and special plate for food and drink culture as well.
