The top comb is a spatula sujitate. As suggested by its name, it has the form of a sujitate comb with a spatula. The long thin chopstick-like combs are motoyuitoushi or mottoitoushi. When the hair is gathered and tied on top of the head, this style is called a motodori, and motoyui or mottoi is the name of the hair-tie that holds the motodori. The motoyuitoushi is used to get to the middle of the motodori and tie the motoyui.
