Flower Basket "One thousand streams"

The otoshi part (lacquered bamboo cylinder) for holding water when placing flowers is shaped by carefully shaving off and lacquering the surface of the bamboo. By placing the otoshi inside the basket, the woven pattern and joints are enhanced.
