Main Entrance Hall

The Entrance Hall is where the Imperial Family and the Prime Minister greet arriving guests. The ceiling and the walls are painted in a unified white colour, which was not just any white colour. Murano Tōgo, who oversaw the extensive renovation during the Shōwa period, strived to create this unified whiteness over the entire building to balance the overall brightness of the building.
