The fabric, called Chusa has crinkled texture from the heavily twisted silk thread, creating elasticity. This fabric similar to the Jijimi, commonly used in summer season today. For its elasticity, Chusa is frequently used to make hats like Samo and Gwanmo (male headpieces) for the noblemen during the time.
