This is a wooden chest used to store grains, which is made of legs fashioned from logs, planks inserted between the four legs and the base, with two boards attached on the top. The top part is designed to open to pour and scoop grains. The top board is composed of a pair of panels, with the rear one fixed in place and the front one used as a flap to open and close. A metal ornament is attached to the door to hang a lock. In the past, the size of a wooden rice chest indicated the economic status of the household.
