Astilbe chinensis (Chinese astilbe)

Astilbe chinensis, known as Chinese astilbe, is a herbaceous perennial plant in the Saxifragaceae. Chinese astilbe flowers, are produced in narrow, upright panicles in early summer. The typical flower color is a pinkish purple.
