The eo is wooden tiger-shaped percussion, played by a bamboo stick by hitting the head three times and scraping the sawlike top once. It is colored in white symbolizing the west and also put in the west side of the orchestra. It is played in pairs and arranged with the chuk, which signals the beginning of the music.
