This is a document presented by the King to Yi Jung-ro (1577-1624), descendant of founding contributor Yi Ji-ran. It is part of the rewards presented by King Injo to those who took his side in his coup against King Gwanghae in 1623. The document has the following content: having his portrait painted and kept for the succeeding generations of people to see; having his official position and that of his parents, wife, and children raised by two notches, and; allowing his eldest son to inherit his official position forever.
