Chaeronea is a village and a former municipality in Boeotia, Greece, located about 35 kilometers east of Delphi. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Livadeia, of which it is a municipal unit. The municipal unit has an area of 111.445 km², the community 26.995 km². Population 1,382. It is located by the mountain Thourion and in the Kifisós river valley, NW of Thebes.
