Dinh Q. Lê is a Vietnamese American multimedia artist, best known for his photography work and photo-weaving technique. Lê is a prominent Asian artist who has exhibited work all around the globe. Many of his works consider the Vietnam War as well as methods of memory and how it connects to the present. Other series of his, such as his From Hollywood to Vietnam explore the relation of pop culture to personal memory and the difference between history and the portrayals on the silver screen.
