Dec 16, 2019 - Mar 1, 2022
Ticket: Free
The National Museum of Korea has reorganized its existing Asian Arts Gallery into the “World Art Gallery” to present a variety of cultures from all over the world. Understanding various cultures provides the opportunity to look back on our own culture, as well as a wider perspective to comprehend other ones. The World Art Gallery will exhibit major East and West civilizations as well as Asian cultures at intervals of one or two years.

Egypt Gallery is the very first permanent exhibition hall dedicated to Egyptian civilization. This gallery is co-organized with the Brooklyn Museum in the U.S., which is known as one of the world’s foremost institutions on the subject for its Egyptian collection. The National Museum of Korea has been supporting Korean art collections at the Brooklyn Museum since 2013 as the fruition of long-term cooperation. This exhibition will be open to viewers for two years until November 2021.
