The exhibition is dedicated to the completion of the restoration of a 15th-century double-sided icon from the Hermitage collection. On one side of the board is the plot "Adoration of the Magi", on the other - the upper fragment of the plot "Assumption of the Mother of God".

As it has recently turned out, the Hermitage plaque is the upper part of the altar door, the lower half of which is kept in the Museum of the History of Religion in St. Petersburg.

Both parts of the sash and the results of technical and technological studies of the Hermitage plaque will be presented at the exposition. The materials accompanying the exhibition will present the results of stylistic analysis, iconographic features, determining the time to which the sash belongs, the place and circle of masters.

The exhibition is organized by the State Hermitage and the Museum of the History of Religion in St. Petersburg.
