Martin Creed: What’s the point of it?

Hayward Gallery

29 January – 5 May 2014, Hayward Gallery

Martin Creed: What’s the point of it? was the first major survey of Creed’s work, spanning its most minimal moments and extravagant room-sized installations.

The exhibition occupied the entire Hayward Gallery, including its three outdoor sculptural terraces, entrance foyer, lift, and even the toilets.

Sight, sound and music converged in all of the galleries, and works varied in scale from monumental sculptures to barely noticeable interventions.
