Talking Tours India is an interactive experience that brings together Google Street View’s panoramic imagery and Gemini’s advanced reasoning to provide immersive, voice guided tours. It offers live generated, context aware audio guides to a selection of India's cultural landmarks, archaeological sites, and cultural institutions.

You can navigate 360-degree Street View imagery of Indian sites and hit the "Snapshot" button for more information. Gemini analyzes the specific visual elements such as the Khandagiri Caves, using GPS data to provide local historical context. The system converts visual data into a descriptive script, which is then synthesised into high-quality, natural-sounding audio (English and Hindi). The AI generates three contextually relevant questions based on the current view, encouraging deeper pedagogical engagement.
