Can classical music transcend tradition to speak the language of technology? The Twin Paradox is an innovative musical project created by Jakob Haas and Adrian Sieber with Google Arts & Culture and the Munich Symphony Orchestra, inviting audiences to explore AI’s role in human creativity.
Using the Gemini API via Google AI Studio, the composers leveraged machine learning to analyze video footage of musicians improvising. By interpreting these sessions, including a percussionist's heavy metal background, the AI suggested complex tempos and unique motifs that the creators built into a final orchestrational score.
