Archaeology of Photography works for the public good in the fields of culture, art, education, and supporting cultural heritage. Its core activities are connected with archivisation, preservation, publications, and promotion, domestically and internationally, of Polish photographers’ archives. It organizes workshops, exhibitions, conferences, has own gallery and editorial department.
