The Reina Sofía School of Music was founded in 1991 as an educational and cultural project. Since then, the School has worked to support the development of the most talented young musicians and bring the benefits of music closer to society.
Several personalities and institutions have donated legacies of great musical and cultural value to the Reina Sofía School. The Albéniz Archive and Documentation Center (CADA) of the School is in charge of watching over and making available all these documents, including, among others, the collections of the musicians Arthur Rubinstein, Frederic Mompou, Luis Galve and Isaac Albéniz, of the musicologists Elaine Brody and Enrique Franco and the collection of editions of the Albéniz Foundation.
The "Arthur Rubinstein, Jewish Pianist" exhibition and the two "Conversation Between the Arts" series mark the beginning of the CADA collections being made available to the public through Google Arts & Culture.
