Finland - Biennale Architettura 2016

The Finnish Pavilion in Giardini, designed by Alvar Aalto in 1955-56, was originally intended as a temporary construction. In 2016, at the 15th International Architecture Exhibition at the La Biennale di Venezia, the Finnish Pavilion shows the winning and honorable mentioned entries of the architectural competition From Border Home seeking solutions to the refugee housing problem.
