The Bettino Craxi Foundation, established in 2000, is a non-profit organization, with legal personality, which promotes cultural development mainly in the fields of the political and economic-social sciences - through conferences, seminars, study meetings , publications; carries out studies, scientific dissemination and training – specifically addressed to young scholars - through the provision of scholarships and research grants.
It is in possession of several archival funds, digitized and usable for free both at its headquarters and online. It has a library, a photo library, a video library and an important artistic heritage. All the assets of the Foundation have been declared to be of considerable historical interest and are available to the public. The Foundation is also a member of the ICA (International Council of Archives).
