Galerie Azzedine Alaïa

"The Galerie is at the center of the house. It was once part of the BHV department store, which used it as a warehouse. It is a Parisian place, and that is how I see the exhibitions I organize here. Paris is like a woman: if she loves you, she accepts you; and if she accepts you, you must love her back. These exhibitions serve to gather my friends, the people I admire and love. I want to give them a space next to the market, next to the institutions, something different and free, where they can show what they do, and do it differently."
