Houston Ballet

Houston Ballet is one of the largest and most respected ballet companies in the US today. It strives to inspire a lasting love and appreciation for dance through artistic excellence, exhilarating performances, innovative choreography and superb educational programs. The classically trained company has a diverse repertory which ranges from full-length classics to contemporary works by some of world’s most renowned choreographers.

Houston Ballet tours extensively, both nationally and internationally, and has performed to critical acclaim in New York, Washington, D.C., Los Angeles, Montréal, Paris, London, Bonn, and Melbourne, among others. But our work does not stop there. The Houston Ballet Academy produces some of the world's top dancers, and our Education & Community Engagement department provides arts education programs to over 60,000 kids in need each year.

The company and the Houston Ballet Academy are housed in the largest facility dedicated to professional dance in America, the Houston Ballet Center for Dance.
