MUMART - Museo Municipal de Arte de La Plata

The Municipal Art Museum of La Plata - MUMART - is located in the Pasaje Dardo Rocha Cultural Center, where the city's Secretariat of Culture and Education currently operates. Its collection includes works by the most outstanding national artists, such as Emilio Pettoruti, Benito Quinquela Martín, Lola Mora, Nelson Blanco, and Marta Minujín, among many others.

The formal establishment of the Municipal Commission of Fine Arts, and the donation of the "Numa Rossotti Collection", have been the two decisive facts to develop the project of a Municipal Museum of Fine Arts.
