The Malacological Museum Malakos is located in the only Italian peninsular region that does not face the sea, but that is even more important: we have brought the sea back to Umbria after more than five million years. Through the charm of the shells, the museum illustrates the world marine biodiversity, but also sheds a careful look to palaeontology and the millennial relationship that exists between man and shells.
