Santa Clara Museum is located in what used to be the Royal Convent of Saint Claire, which was built in 1647. It is located in the historical city center of Bogotá. It houses a wide collection of paintings and sculptures from 17th, 18th, 19th, and 20th centuries. The building is one of the most important Baroque sites in Bogotá and it forms part of the Ministry of Culture of Colombia.
