The museum was founded in 2006 by Sebastian Malinowski who collected photos and artifacts related to the Bydgoszcz Canal. You can see here photographs, plans, postcards and models that show the history of the Bydgoszcz Canal, Hamburk – an oak rowing boat dating back to 1920 that sailed on the Brda River and canal.
It is also worth taking part in the history lessons here. The museum is located in the direct neighbourhood of the old part of the Bydgoszcz Canal, surrounded by unique plants with rich old trees.
