Museum of Eastern Bohemia in Hradec Králové was established since 1880. Today, the largest museum of Region of Hradec Králové presenting a carefully selected sample of the three millions collection objects in a unique of monumental historical building built in 1909-1912 by the glorious architect Jan Kotera - since 1995, proudly bearing the epithet National Historic Landmark.

In the collection of the Museum of Eastern Bohemia in Hradec Králové are recorded primarily archaeological, geological, paleontological, zoological, technical, numismatic, faleristic, cultural-historical, art-historical, archival and library groups exhibits focusing on the region of Eastern Bohemia.
