Built in 1758 during the reign of Stanislas, the Opéra national de Lorraine, located in the historic heart of the city of Nancy, Place Stanislas, remains an unmissable destination in Nancy life.
Having become the sixth national opera in France in 2006, the Opéra national de Lorraine is entirely focused on new creations. Its programming covers all repertoires, from early music to contemporary.
Every season, nearly 80,000 spectators, more than 15,000 children and thousands more visitors push through the doors of this socially-conscious opera, open to all audiences.
