Historical landmark on a european scale. The name of the village was probably associated with a well-known inn that welcomed guests and was later phonetically germanized to 'Goschütz' (Goszcz). The Baroque-Rococo palace is modeled on the most famous French residences in Versailles and Vaux-le-Vicomte. It was built in 1749, after the fire of the first residence of the Reichenbach-Goschütz family.
