Rail Enthusiasts’ Society, was incorporated on the 28th Dec 2015 to provide a platform for rail enthusiasts to disseminate knowledge, air their views and exchange ideas regarding the railways in India or overseas and to publish a magazine for all rail enthusiasts. A ‘Rail Enthusiast’ is one who may or may not be a professional railway man or woman, but who has a deep interest in and love for the railways in all or any its aspects. The interest could be in any area pertaining to the railways in India or overseas and may include history, heritage, anecdotes, books and films, railway infrastructure like track, bridges, stations, railway locomotives and rolling stock, rail operations, rail modelling, staff, sports, and so on.
