Ramamani Iyengar Memorial Yoga Institute (RIMYI) is the heart and soul of Iyengar Yoga and is located in Pune, Maharashtra. The institute was established on January 19, 1975 and is dedicated to Smt. Ramamani Iyengar, the wife of Yogacharya B.K.S. Iyengar. Since the demise of Yogacharya B.K.S. Iyengar in August 2014, the directors of the Institute are his daughter Geeta S. Iyengar and his son Prashant S. Iyengar.
