The Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art is a must-see venue for modern and contemporary art. Housed in two buildings in the west end of Edinburgh, the galleries and sculpture park display masterpieces of Scottish and international 20th century and contemporary art, including works by Francis Bacon, Barbara Hepworth, Paul Klee and Henry Moore.
The gallery is also home to our extensive, world class collection of Dada and Surrealist art as well as the reconstruction of Eduardo Paolozzi’s studio.
The Scottish National Gallery, along with the Scottish National Portrait Gallery and Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art forms the National Galleries of Scotland. We care for, research and display Scotland’s national art collection, to inform, engage and inspire the broadest possible public.
