The National Museum of the Republic of Tatarstan

The National Museum of the Republic of Tatarstan - one of the oldest museums in Russia, the largest repository of monuments of material and spiritual culture of the Middle Volga and Urals. Integrated its profile - historical, natural science - it stores and reflects the history and culture of the peoples of Tatarstan and Russia and the world.
The museum was founded as Kazan Scientific and Industrial Museum in 1894. Inauguration of the museum took place April 5, 1895.
