ABOUT POW! WOW! HAWAII 2011
Following a successful start in Hong Kong, the art and music event known as POW! WOW! changed venues to the sandy beaches of Hawaii. The event conceived in part by Jasper Wong occupied his hometown of Honolulu from February 16th through the 19th in 2011. The event’s premise included an open event for people to stop by to watch the likes of 123KLAN, Yue Wu, Meggs, Jeff Hamada and local artists Prime, Kamea Hadar and Ekundayo all work their creative magic. Musical acts included Jules Gayton and Donnis of Fool’s Gold Records.
