A 2004 Comedy-Action-Thriller film starring Vivek Oberoi (as Meet Mehta), Riteish Deshmukh (as Amar Saxena) and Aftab Shivdasani (as Prem Chawla).

To engage and entertain Bollywood fanatics, Shemaroo Entertainment launched some of the iconic cult movies of Bollywood as aesthetic illustrations that brings the characters to life through printed comics. One of them being Masti (2004).

Directed by Indra Kumar, this film revolves around the lives of three best friends; Amar, Meet and Prem who get together for the first time after being married.

Discussing their married lives they realized how much they miss their bachelor days. the boys plan on something FUN!

These three friends decide to pay visit to their bachelor life. A life full of Masti (fun), entertainment, and an unknown drama to enter their lives, that they were not aware of.

The Fun Begins

Amar, Meet and Prem meet for the first time. 
Roasting and toasting each other they all have a blast.

Upon being asked about their wives, they all give a sugar coated response and try to prove that how being married is treating them well.

Sugar Coated Happines wears off!

Just when meet spoke about how understanding his wife is, she calls and nags him about how much she loves and misses him.

Meet's Reality

Anchal, Meet's wife turned out to be completely different from what he had explained his friends. 

Not a sweet understanding women but a obsessive - possessive one.

Three men in the same boat!

Meet continues grieving and pours his heart out to his friends about his wife.

After listening to Meet's amusing examples Prem and Amar too sail the boat and reveal how sorrowful their lives are.

Just when they though they had a way out of all their problems brought upon by Monica, they face more and more challenges.

Meet and Prem show photographs of women they are having an affair with.

The two friends are startled and traumatized to see the uncanny resemblance in their pictures. 

To which they presume that the two women might be identical twins!

A major twist in their lives

Just when Meet and Prem resolved that there is a possibility that the woman they are having an affair with might be twins, Amar removes a photograph of the woman he is having an affair with, which turns out to be the same. 

They are all in absolute confusion.

Monica - Oh My Darling

Out of nowhere Monica, the affair arrives and reveals how she overheard the boys planning Masti, she decided to teach them a lesson. 

A series of events follow where all three of them are blackmailed by Monica who wants a wholesome amount of money. They eventually decide to rob and take money from their own houses and wives, in which they thought they will fail!

Amar's brilliant plan to steal

Dressed as a milkman, his plan is to steal from his own house.

Amar tries to knock off his own mother-in-law. 

She sets up a good show and doesn't give up. But Amar eventually succeeded to beat her out.

This is the first film of the "Masti" film series, followed by "Grand Masti" (2013) and "Great Grand Masti" (2016)

Story behind the comic strips
