As an avid football lover, Brazilian musical legend and Ariola artist Chico Buarque hosted Bob and friends for a series of matches at his private pitch.
Serious Competition
Some professional footballers even showed up to play and reason with him. Here, Bob and Chico with Paulo Cézar Caju, a star of the 1970 (World Cup winning) and 1974 Brazilian National football team.
Fast Friends
Bob also met and spent some time with Brazilian musicians Moraes Moreira and Marina Lima, actress Zeze Motta, and others.

During the trip Bob picked up a mandolin and spent much of his free time on the trip finding his way around the instrument.
