Along with the release of I Know This to be True About – Nelson Mandela: Guiding Principles, the Nelson Mandela Foundation has announced an international leadership project founded on interviews with inspiring leaders from around the world.
It will be a five-year project featuring six women and six men each year, that will be the basis for a series of books, films and audio documentaries.

Launching in late March 2020 alongside I Know This to be TrueAbout– Nelson Mandela: Guiding Principles, will be eight small books founded on personal interviews with Albie Sachs, Bryan Stevenson, Gloria Steinem, Greta Thunberg, Jacinda Ardern, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Stephen Curry and Waleed Aly. More titles will follow later in the year, including Nobel Peace Laureate Dr. Denis Mukwege.
In each book photographic portraits of these contemporary leaders are accompanied by their unique and compelling stories, insights and guiding ideals. Messages of courage, compassion, humility, hope and generosity aim to motivate a new generation of leaders ready to create meaningful change.
