Bidoup-Nui Ba National Park is well-known for its diverse avifauna, particularly as the park covers three Important Bird Areas and is located within the Da Lat Plateau Endemic Bird Area.
It is home to endemic species such as the Orange-breasted Laughingthrush, Vietnamese Cutia, Vietnamese Greenfinch, Grey-crowned Crocias, and the Collared Laughingthrush.
The park is considered a central zone of the largest remaining forest block of high conservation value in the Da Lat Plateau. The range of elevational variation and east-west differentiation make this site one of the best areas for biodiversity conservation and research in ASEAN
