Cracovians have been out of luck with regard to Beksiński; never before has he had a permanent exhibition venue in our city. Up until now!
Since October 2016, it has been possible to view 50 paintings from the private collection of Anna Dmochowska and Piotr Dmochowski – merchants and friends of the late artist – on permanent exhibition at the Zdzisław Beksiński Gallery of the Nowa Huta Cultural Centre.

They are supplemented by over a dozen paintings from the last years of his life, showing the painter’s turn toward more ascetic forms of expression.
