A new interactive climate experience

Launched at COP26, the United Nations Climate Change Conference, Voices for Change is the legacy piece of Forest For Change, an installation of 400 trees in the heart of London by world renowned artist Es Devlin in June 2021 to raise awareness of The Global Goals.

Inviting people to leave a message for change

As part of the interactive experience at the Forest, visitors were invited to choose one of the seventeen Global Goals and record a message about the change they wanted to see in the world.

Voices from the Forest

Project Everyone worked with civil society partners including the Scouts, Help Age, Earthrise, Restless Development, the ONE Campaign, One Young World and Humanity & Inclusion – to invite people all over the world, across a wide range of demographics, to collect the messages.

Inside the experience

These voice contributions populate a magical Global Goals World, which launched at COP26. The unique virtual ecosystem is populated by trees, water and other natural elements in 3D. Each voice is connected to a Global Goal which is in turn connected to a natural element.

Experience it yourself

The ecosystem works as a choir: the viewer hears different voices as they move through the 3D space. This virtual world can be enjoyed as a short film, as a larger scale interactive experience at COP26 or as an interactive exploration on your device.

Making Voices Heard

The voices were showcased at the COP26 summit, bringing voices from around the world directly to decision-makers. They now represent a highly original and democratic presentation of the public’s passions and concerns at a unique moment in history.
