This is Quilt 018 of 042 in the UK AIDS Memorial Quilt collection, created during the late 1980's and early 1990's before there was effective treatment for people living with HIV.

Patrick Cowley was a music producer of disco and hi-NRG music. He worked with the artist Sylvester. He died in 1982 aged 32.

Tommy Nutter

Tommy Nutter was a London based tailor famous for reinventing Saville Row in the 1960's. He designed the Joker's outfits for the 1989 Batman film. He died in 1982.
