The man, the myth, the legend

This is Sir Indiana Bones, affectionately called Indy. He is the museum mascot and Chief Morale Officer. He roams around the museum, eager to take naps under the skeletons and procure some head scritches from guests. He loves attention!

The Kitty Committee made a selection

The Skulls Unlimited team was asking management for an office pet. When they received approval, they went to a local shelter with the intention of picking out a kitten. Indy, an estimated 1-2 year old cat, was adopted on September 6th, 2019, from the Moore Animal Shelter.

The museum's guard cat

Indy does a great job guarding the specimens. He doesn't bite and attack the specimens (except the porcupine quills and musk deer fur).

Indy as the exhibit inspector

Indy does thorough inspections of the exhibits to make sure everything is in its proper place and looking great. Even if he does leave a few paw prints around the museum.

Indy the introvert

Even museum mascots need downtime. Sometimes Indy gets shy and just wants to nap in peace.

Can I speak to the gift shop moew-ager?

Sometimes he wants to be in the center of everything. This is Indy making sure everything is running smoothly in the gift shop.
