Imago Mundi - Praestigium Italia
"Praestigium has its origins in a pride for our prestigious roots, but intends to be, above all, the proud representation of our possible future, be it artistic, social or moral. The commitment, sensitivity and courage to look ahead, the spirit of discovery of our artists, are signs of an Italian positivity which we send to the world." Luciano Benetton The exhibition, together with the two catalogues (210 artists each, strictly in alphabetical order), portrays Italian creativity in the cities and the provinces, it offers the artistic sensibility of women all the space it deserves and puts on canvas the country as it is today, problems included, from the economic crisis to social uncertainties.
