MACBA - Museum of Contemporary Art of Buenos Aires
The Museum of Contemporary Art of Buenos Aires presents three exhibitions simultaneously. Geometric works of the Chilean artist Liliana Iturriaga curated by Patricio Zárate, and those of Miguel Ángel Giovanetti curated by Laura Casanovas, are combined with abstract art by Catalina Chervin under the curatorship of Ángel Navarro.

In some drawings, the cut-out figure rises subtly on the background of the paper while, in others, it submerges slightly as it is surrounded by a passepartout following its perimeter.
The artist privileges, on this occasion, the drawing executed with gel pen on paper. In a perfectionist intention, the structure yields its rigidity to a vibrant and delicate color scheme with a predominance of green, orange, yellow, red and blue.

Movement prevails in these works by proposing specific directions and is increased in videos through fragments which perform virtual rotations; those, in turn, play with the possibility of completeness, unfolded or condensed. The works become included in a context and surrounded by an aura, creating a here and now. The viewer can move and decide about the time of reception; it is a space where they can make their choices freely, manifesting the relativism of their point of view, thus understanding the message of the work through geometry, mathematics, algorithms but also through sensibility, crossing atmospheres of color which lead them to diverse worlds.
